Polar Bear

Client: Best Ever Christmas Show | Applied Arts

I made this 2: 1 scale polar bear head for a large scale puppet project. I also produced a 1:4 scale maquette of the full bear as reference for fabrication of the puppet's body. Unfortunately the commissioning show was cancelled half way through production, a real shame as it would have made for an impressive puppet.

Despite this I couldn't resist completing the head, which was digitally sculpted and 3D printed in two pieces on my large format printers, before being finished with faux fur and artworked.
